An ancient hybrid tea variety bred in Great Britain. The crimson flowers are so dark that the edges of the petals appear black.

The height of the crop is 1.2 m. The crown diameter is 0.8 m. The bush is compact.
The flowers are double, very large, up to 12 cm, tightly packed, with a bright aroma reminiscent of wine. The Black Prince's petals are deep, dark red, with darker edges, creating a shimmering effect. In bud the flower looks almost black, but as it opens it becomes lighter.
When growing a rose in the sun, its decorative characteristics are not fully developed - it turns red. Therefore, it is better to plant the rose in partial shade.
